Matt opens his gift
He's holding up his map of Lake Tahoe which shows the depth and topography of the lake's floor. Matt says, "yeah it's a big crater filled in with snow"
Janaree opens her gift
The museum catalog book of the April Gornik show which was showing earlier this year at Sheldon. I loved her work...so stylistic, a mixture of fantasy and reality and landscape.
Lynne opens her gift
The platter is beside the point. The illustration is of a snowman with his carrot nose tilted up like he is letting snow fall into his mouth. The caption is something like...It's the most magical time of year.

myer honors arhia's presence with a funny face
Last year Arhia was able to come to the annual Herman Christmas dinner and be a part of the pictures. Since she was unable to make it this year, Myer honors her presence (or as in this case, her absence) with a crazy face

These are the sacred schroatberger candle sticks. They come to rest in the middle of the dining flat space to honor the arrival of Janaree and Mona.

This summer park scene was in 77 and I was taking graduate courses at my alma mater.
i. visitors for the play
The first fall after graduating from college I got involved with my home town community play house. The play premiered in October my first year teaching and the other teachers thought I had lost my mind taking on such a big load my first two months teaching.
Ah well...I was young!
